TIME OF WONDER (TOW) was created in 1990 with the idea to offer a place where the children receive an integrated education. We think that every child is special and every child is unique. That’s why each child is taught differently from any other one. It is very important to have people with experience directing the center to which you entrust your child. At TIME OF WONDER, one of the owners is always present and ensures that the Daycare will deliver superior service at all times. |
Let us explain to you our philosophy:
 Feeling loved
When children feel that they are loved by their teachers, they feel they can be loved by people who are not part of their family. “It is possible also to be loved by others.” When this goal is achieved, they will feel emotionally safe.
Emotionally safe
Away from their home environment, the children lose a little of the security they feel when they are at home. Being surrounded by people whom they do not know, can generate nervousness that inhibits the potential for concentration and learning.
To teach children to be emotionally safe is the second goal any educational center needs to reach. Being emotionally safe means to have high self-esteem. At the same time, our well-trained, attentive staff assists children in developing the confidence and self-esteem necessary to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
Feeling cared offIf the child does not feel that his or her needs are covered (food, rest, game and learning) he or she will not feel either safe nor loved.
A clean atmosphere, balanced nourishment (Food Program Sponsored), hygiene standards and pleasant work environment prepares a child to be ready to learn.
Ready to learn
When all of the other goals are achieved, the children are ready to concentrate and learn. To obtain the best results, the center needs to apply Developmentally Appropriate Care.
