TAMPA'S DAYCARE

Welcome to TIME OF WONDER, your children's second home

Preschool represents a new and most important milestone in your child's life. It is here that socialization skills are developed and positive attitudes towards learning are fostered.

Here at TIME OF WONDER (TOW), we achieve these goals through our twelve month curriculum, for Infants to Pre-k, which encourages children to explore their surrounding world, to think creatively, to use all their senses and to become involved in every facet of learning through developmentally appropriate activities in a safe environment. We also offer a full and part-time VPK Program.

TIME OF WONDER is dedicated to providing a high quality preschool program to effectively meet the needs of children ages 6 weeks up to the after school age of 12 years. WE BELIEVE THAT PRESCHOOL IS A NECESSARY EXTENSION OF THEIR SCHOOL EXPERIENCES.

Having a dedicated staff enables us to effectively meet our goals.

If you choose to pack your child’s lunch, it must be in a bag or a box marked with your child’s name. Due to the lack of space, we cannot refrigerate every student's food, Tiny ice packs in your child’s lunch will keep the food cool for the duration of the morning. Food that you want heated, must be in a microwave safe container.

We strongly discourage boxed lunches that contain Kool-Aid, candy, and foods high in sugar. Growing children require nutritionally balanced meals and snacks to promote good health and growth.

In attention to our continued educational improvements, in 2008 we implemented a program called Child-Monitoring System (CMS). With this new program, every three months you will receive an evaluation regarding your child's developmental skills. This program evaluates children of all ages: Infants to five years old.

Transition: Once your child is ready to move into another classroom, we will notify you in advance to schedule introductory time for your child to adjust and to monitor his/her readiness for the new environment.

Hourly drop in: Our center is offering a low hourly drop in fee. You have to inform us one day in advance the hours you need care in order to let us organize the following day.

Please check us out. We encourage you to visit our Daycare. You will be pleased to find that we have several options for your child that will fit your needs and budget.
